4) add those keywords in your meta tag. it has been my experience that the first 2 or 3 keywords used in meta keyword line are usually the ones picked up.

5) again, make sure that your website content match those keywords.
content is king , if you have the right unique content in your website , not only that your website will unique , but also it will be liked by Google.

Next thing to do is to find hidden text and fishy seo methods , black or green or purple whatever hat that is , if you do it – your website may get in trouble.

That ’s how you know if you have hidden text :  “Click CTRL – A” Highlight the entire page, if you see some hidden text ”

Most business owners love pay per click , even when it costs a lot.
i have worked with companies spending millions a year on pay per click because simply the like fast results.
Most of these guys are bottom line oriented , they think ” i spend 1 million and get back million and five , i am still a winner. Other middle managers prefer seo ( it is search engine optimization) for those who don’t know it , SEO takes some time .. it takes 2 to 4 months to actually see some results.
SEO is about tweaking your website design and content to create more relevancy in search engine results (SER). A lot of companies are turned on to both seo and ppc , it has been a trend lately that most companies hire their own internet marketing department to handle their pay per click accounts , as well as SEO.
i think most of these companies they make the biggest mistake ever , which is using a short tail keywords like the keyword ” search engine optimization” which costs about $17 per click … yup that’s right … i didn’t tell you about one other keyword i think it is some kind of disease , and it costs $60 a pop !! that’s insane .. but .if you think about it from a number ’s games point of view that you will pay near 4k a day , but get 2 big tickets for 20k or you may get nothing.

In seo , the situation is little different because these companies will hire someone to optimize their website + add back links to it.. if it is done right , the pay off is really worth the money spent on seo.

The question is can you find the right seo expert? if yes , how much do they charge ? let me tell you , a good one will cost you 7k a month at least …but still better than going with an seo company charging you 10k at least and not do much for you.
here is what i think the answer is to SEO or Pay Per Click.
start with an seo to work on your site , until it picks up ( few monthes) , use ppc ( pay per click) just be carfull with ppc because it may cost you some serious money. Remember that if you use short tail keywords vs long tail keywords). If you don’t know what you are doing with pay perclick , ask .. attend an adwords seminar or get a training video or even ask a good friends to teach you. Add City and State address for local SEO
Add your city name few times throughout your website + 1 keyword also repeated 15 times througout your web page. Do this and see your website show in the first page in search engine results. It is proven , it worked.

Add Links in Bold

If you are famliar with Anchor text linking do it. If not ask a pro to do it for you.

Focus on 1 or 3 keywords

A good optimized website has only 1 or 2 major keywords that is mentioned at least 10 times in the content ( i assume that you have at least 300 words in every page ( at least the main landing page)

Less Bling on your website means more information based

No wonder most educational or Free info websites are on top of search engines. What i mean by bling is Flash,lots of graphics.
